Teflon Tapes coated with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) are available in thickness ranging from 3 mil to 10 mil, and have either silicone or acrylic adhesives depending upon the application. PTFE coated tapes are used in applications where there is a need to enhance slip and reduce friction and heat retention on machinery such as rollers when materials are moving at high speed across the surface. Teflon Tapes have either a non-tearing, plastic liner for easy removal or can be self-wound without a liner. PTFE coated Conveyor Belts manufactured in custom made lengths and widths are also available for a variety of applications .
